PRAYER

Continue to pray for the ongoing situation with Covid-19, which has impacted how we operate and our financial support. Join us in prayers for guidance, unity, wisdom from God, as well for financial breakthrough. Pray for the programs that are still being affected or threatened by the locust infestation that seems to be spreading around the world causing a real danger to food security.

Zambia: Continue to pray for Maureen following her recovery from her illness, that she will have no setbacks to her health again. Pray for her son who is in counselling for 3 months, that God will heal & deliver him completely from addictions. Pray for healing and complete recovery for Maureen’s daughter who delivered a son by C-section.

Ethiopia: Pray for our program, which is undergoing some major changes – especially that we would meet the legal requirements of the Ethiopian government in order to bring one of our programs there to a close.

Japan: Pray for Japan as Typhoon Maysak is barreling towards Japan’s southern islands, bearing dangerous winds, as weather authorities warn of a major disaster in the Okinawa region. Our leaders Gypsi & Jesse are on vacation for a week – pray for guidance, wisdom & protection as they both get some time to rest during their time away.

South Sudan: Pray that the peace and reconciliation process will produce a lasting result for peace. Pray for the South Sudanese Pastor Peter, who has been working with us and is involved in this process in South Sudan now. Pray for his safety and ability to communicate to the elders and officials there. Pray also for the health and safety of many of the orphans who are being cared for through our program in Agok. Pray that more funding will be raised for this.

Tanzania: According to government reports, Tanzania is Covid-19 free. Gina has started teaching the kids at the children home the English language. So far, they have been taught only Swahili. Pray for guidance and wisdom for Gina, as she uses online resources to teach the kids. Continue to pray for protection over Tanzania and our program in this country.

Pray for strength, guidance, protection and safety for the workers who completing the house project. This building work has struggled due to Covid-19 restrictions and the drop in support.

All of Pakistan is on high alert for flooding. 90 people died across Pakistan in the last three days from monsoon rains and flooding, and more than 1000 homes and many more structures have been seriously damaged. PRAISE

Praise God, we are so thankful that Jesus has provided for and protected our team leaders and the beneficiaries in our projects. God is providing for all of us during this pandemic, and is helping all our staff to stay connected to get things accomplished.

We give thanks and glory to God that the house which is being built in the Philippines for the family who are living in a shack right now is going ahead well. Praise God, we were able to send emergency assistance funds for Gina and Rosemarie and the children.

Praise Jesus, we were able to send money without any problems to Tanzania, South Sudan & Ethiopia.

In Zambia, glory to Jesus! Maureen messaged us that she is healed and is eating without any problem. We give praise that her daughter, Christine gave birth to her son through C-section.

Tanzania: Praise Jesus, things are going very well with our program. The kids are doing very well, and Tanzania is reportedly Covid-free.

Pakistan: The Children at our Mother Care Centre prayed for all of us. Also, Tabita celebrated her birthday on Monday (Sept. 1) with a party where everybody enjoyed some cake and celebration time. Praise Jesus.

Belize: We give thanks to the Lord as Hurricane Nana made landfall at almost midnight, crossing south of Belize but caused less damage than expected, and no deaths are being reported yet. God’s mercy is made new each morning & certainly He has been the one who has extended His mercy over Belize! Praise Jesus! Continue to declare Jeremiah 5:22 and Mark 4:37 for neighboring countries Mexico, Guatemala & Honduras.

We give our Lord Jesus praise and honor for the answers to our prayers for the needs met and for meeting many of our wants too. Thank you for not forgetting us, and for being a part of our prayer team. We pray that you are all experiencing God’s peace, protection & provision through this difficult time.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear.”
