CCM enjoys a friendly and fruitful collaboration with DevXchange International Programs. DevXchange is a Canada-based holistic mission facilitating some 40 projects around the world – helping churches and community groups together address the physical and spiritual needs of people. Currently involved in 10-15 countries (mainly in Africa, including numerous projects in Ethiopia), DevXchange specializes in connecting and equipping enthusiastic North American volunteers with overseas national-led ministries in a two-way linking of resources. Over the years, the Lord has used DevXchange to touch thousands of people with the love of Christ and help them experience their God-given potential.
CCM facilitates support for DevXchange’s donors in the USA. We would like to draw attention particularly to 4 great DevXchange projects in Ethiopia:
- Forestry for Life: Reaching the north of Ethiopia through introducing agro-forestry in unreached areas
- New Hope: Reaching rural areas all over Ethiopia by starting women’s Village Savings & Loan groups
- Life Changing Technology: Resourcing tech support for 220 schools operated by the Kale Heywet Church
- Newlivelihood: Helping women at risk escape the sex trade, get vocational training, and start a new life
DevXchange’s motto is “Helping People Help People”. CCM joyfully embraces the ministries of DevXchange and encourages generous support for their global activities.
